Speaking of anodized aluminum sheets, designers are undoubtedly familiar with them. Anodizing is a highly effective surface treatment process for aluminum sheets. It involves an electrolytic oxidation process, which forms a high-hardness oxide film on the aluminum surface. This film offers excellent wear resistance, durability, and corrosion resistance, while maintaining the aluminum's natural metallic luster. It is very popular among designers. In recent years, many large landmark buildings have also adopted anodized aluminum sheets as decorative materials.

However, first, it's expensive; the base material isn't cheap. Second, if you want to use a large panel, it won't be flat enough. Third, there's the issue of color variation caused by the process. To address these issues, anodized aluminum composite panels are a great choice.

Depending on the substrate, it can be categorized as anodized honeycomb composite panels or anodized non-combustible core composite panels.


01. Anodized Honeycomb Composite Panels

It consists of a panel (anodized aluminum panel), a back panel (aluminum panel) and an intermediate layer (aluminum honeycomb core material).


Material Features:


Class A fireproof, durable and weather-resistant, with good appearance;

High strength, excellent flatness, suitable for large panel widths;

Lightweight, suitable for indoor ceilings;

Can be processed into special shapes but cannot be punched;

Not cheap;


Panel specifications:


Panel thickness: 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm

Aluminum thickness: 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm

Panel width: ≤1600mm; Panel length: ≤8000mm


02. Anodized non-combustible core composite board

It is a "sandwich" structure, which uses a hot pressing process to combine oxidized thick film aluminum plate, back aluminum plate and fireproof core material into an integrated plate.


Material Features:


Metallic luster and premium texture;

Continuous oxidation process ensures decorative effect with minimal color shift;

The surface metal film is extremely weather-resistant, antibacterial, mildew-resistant, and easy to clean;

Surface hardness reaches 9H (sapphire-grade hardness), making it scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant;

Excellent weather resistance, no fading for 50 years, lasting the same as the building;

Combustibility reaches Class A (A2s1,d0,t0);

Perforable, but not as capable of custom-shaped processing as single sheet;

Suitable for large sheet widths, ultra-flat;

High cost-effectiveness;

Aluminum sheet thickness: 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm

Sheet width: 800-1550mm

Sheet length: 8000mm
